Located in the heart of Columbia, the Harriet Hancock LGBT Center is the hub of LGBT activity in the Midlands of South Carolina. The facility offers a variety of resources including a free lending library, meeting spaces for LGBT-supportive groups, a directory of LGBT-friendly businesses, organizations, counselors, Youth Out Loud--a support and social group for LGBT teens. It is also the headquarters for the SC Pride Movement.

The South Carolina Gay + Lesbian Business Guild is a not-for-profit organization supporting the needs of South Carolina’s gay and lesbian members of the business community and our allies. Membership in the Guild provides great networking opportunities, fun activities and events—plus a dollars and “sense” way of increasing commerce, trade and professional contacts.
